Connecting Territory Women
Women's Network Northern Territory is the largest non-political organisation for WOMEN IN THE TOP END. Our aim is to support and promote you in areas of professional development, leadership and to connect women through networking.
Members come from a vast range of professions and business backgrounds such as banking, government, travel, advertising, real estate, business development, retail, fitness and well being.
The network is also a great opportunity for women NEW TO THE TERRITORY to meet locals and feel welcomed in their home.

Guest speaker Karen Schneider, Territory Sports Medicine

Karen Schneider came from Melbourne to Darwin in 1986 with her husband and 3 children all under 4. She is a sports Physiotherapist and has owned her own Physiotherapy Business since 1989. It has grown from 1 part time to 9 physiotherapists.
Territory Sportsmedicine has been her passion for many years. Three years ago her life was to go down a very different road, one she would have liked to have avoided.
She is so pleased to have the opportunity to speak to women and men of all ages about what she has learned that very well help someone.
Karen is in the medical profession but was quite ignorant about Breast Cancer... as she says "Sadly not anymore"
