Government told mandatory reporting a mistake27-Oct-08 LEGAL and support agencies are making a last-ditch appeal to the NT Government to drop draft legislation that would force Territorians to report domestic violence. Cabinet is considering submissions that would force anyone - doctors, lawyers or neighbours - to dob in someone they suspected of the crime - otherwise they could be fined $2200.
